In 2017 Tom and I were looking to get some range time in. It was winter so we needed an indoor range. The closest to West Branch is in Bay City. We started thinking it would be great to open a range here in West Branch or somewhere close. It so happens that the bowling alley in Hale was closed down and for sale. We thought about how perfect the building would be. It was the right size for an indoor pistol range. We even went so far as to contact the realtor and visit the site. It was perfect. We actually thought maybe it could work. We even had a name, Reahearnes Shooter's Alley. It was foolproof. We thought 90K for the building was doable but there are 1,000,000 other reasons we couldn't afford the equipment that was needed. However, the idea had been planted and a short time later we filed paperwork to form "Reahearnes Shooter's Alley, LLC". We hope that by the time we actually retire we might be in the position to open that range. While we wait we plan to establish ourselves as a legitimate business that promotes the shooting sports anyway we can. So someday we hope there really is a "Shooter's Alley" for you to visit.
